Everything in Nutshell is designed to be simple with an intuitive layout. Each exercise is found in a scroll page with categories for Barbell, Dumbbell, Body weight, and Cable and Plate. Each exercise has its own Info page, Add page, and a Stats page.

Our info pages are where you can get a quick run down of the exercise, refresh your anatomy knowledge by checking out the main muscles involved in the joint actions, and view an image of the beginning and end of each exercise.

After you have entered a set you can scroll to the bottom of each ADD page where we have a real time Stats overview and training guide. Here you can see: Your current INOL values, your current calculated one rep max, your highest ever achieved one rep max, and your X bodyweight of this exercise.

Each exercise has its own stats page where you can view a variety of data. For selective exercises we show your strength level within your demographic using a percentile calculation of your 1RM. This will eventually be rolled out to any exercise that we have enough data on.

Here you can also find graphs of your daily volume, and your total INOL per day. Next you can find a table of your weekly INOL for each exercise for the previous 12 weeks. Lastly you have a table of reps, weight lifted, rest, notes, INOL, 1RM, and X of bodyweight for each exercise.

Nutshell is currently a free progressive web app (PWA) It can be downloaded directly to your phone screen via a button on the app or you can continue to use the free web based version for as long as you like. We are currently working on a premium add free version with many more features (see the FAQ’s @ the app for more info). This will be available in the Playstore.
